Levi and his family rear wonderful free-range Saddleback pigs at Hambledon Farm in Shillingstone, within sight of Hambledon Hill, one of Dorset’s prehistoric hill forts in the Blackmore Vale. The breed is renowned for the saddle around its belly, its hardiness and maternal instincts and for producing really succulent pork.
Levi’s pigs are outdoor-reared, free to forage outdoors and wallow about, living in small groups whilst they reach maturity. The Saddlebacks are reared naturally without additives, growth promoters or antibiotics and enjoy a well-balanced and nutritious diet.
